Delia Smith has voiced her support for CAFOD's Refugee Crisis Appeal, after revealing she has found the plight of refugees forced to flee their homes 'deeply distressing'.

The appeal is comprised of two Christmas gifts which people can buy, with the money going towards buying basic necessities for refugees. Smith said it is 'impossible not to feel deeply moved by the gravity of this disaster' and has urged people to 'offer all the help you can'.
